Midwest Energy Cooperative collecting donations for Oklahoma relief
In times of need, neighbor helps neighbor. The Midwest Energy Cooperative family is encouraging neighbor to help neighbor on a wider scale as we reach out to and support our Oklahoma neighbors who were impacted by the May tornadoes.
In the aftermath of the devastating storms, the national electric cooperative family immediately responded, creating the Touchstone Energy Cooperative Oklahoma Relief Fund to assist individuals in electric cooperative service areas who were affected. Midwest Energy, a member of the national Touchstone Energy Cooperative family, is joining efforts to support fellow cooperative members. From June 5-21, donation boxes will be available in all cooperative offices to collect items or cash donations to send to those who were impacted by the deadly storms. We are focusing on collection of toiletry items, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, soap, diapers (all sizes), wipes, toilet paper, hairbrushes and other everyday necessities. Checks can be made to the TEC Oklahoma Relief Fund.
Donations may be dropped off at any of our office locations at the times listed below.
