Midwest Energy Cooperative Scholarship

Midwest Energy Cooperative annually awards four $500 college scholarships to seniors graduating from high schools within our service territory. It is a key way that we help support today’s student leaders on the path to becoming tomorrow’s business and community leaders.

Applications are available in January and are judged based on academic achievements, school and community activities, honors and awards, and a 250-word essay. Any high school senior whose parents or guardians receive monthly electric service from Midwest Energy Cooperative and whose primary residence is in Midwest’s service territory are eligible to apply. A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a four-point system is required.
