MIDWEST PROPANE SPONSORS EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAINING

(Cassopolis, MI) – Representatives from area fire departments will participate in a propane emergency training program on Tuesday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Edwardsburg Fire Department, 69910 M-62. The program is co-sponsored by Midwest Propane and the Edwardsburg Fire Department.

The comprehensive training program, facilitated by the Michigan Propane Gas Association, is conducted by specially-trained firefighters and includes both classroom and live training, giving participants hands-on, practical experience in a controlled setting.

“Fortunately, propane emergency situations are rare, but emergency response groups still need to know how to handle them. We’re happy to help equip our local firefighters with the information and confidence they need to safely and effectively deal with whatever might come their way,” said Bob Hance, Midwest Energy Cooperative President/CEO.
