MIDWEST ENERGY INVITES COMMUNITY TO STUFF A TRUCK
(Cassopolis, MI) -- Midwest Energy Cooperative invites its customers and the community-at-large to help Stuff-A-Truck for families in need this holiday season.
The 5th Annual Stuff-A-Truck event will be Saturday, October 27 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Midwest encourages customers and the general public to stop by one of the four drop-off locations to donate non-perishable food and miscellaneous household items. Donations will benefit Helping Hands of Cass County and the First Presbyterian Church of Paw Paw.
Volunteers and donors will be stuffing co-op vehicles at the Harding’s Markets in Cassopolis and Edwardsburg, and Felpausch in Dowagiac and Paw Paw. People unable to stop on the day of the event may bring donations into one of the offices during the week of November 22. Co-op offices are located at 901 E. State Street, Cassopolis and 59825 S. LaGrave, Paw Paw.
“Our community really steps up to the plate in supporting its own members, and Midwest Energy Cooperative is proud to be a part of that,” says Bob Hance, president/CEO. “This is an important effort that makes a big difference in the lives of people in the communities we serve.”
