NOTES:
*A 5 kW wind turbine was initially installed on December 30, 2008 at a cost of $35,154. That unit broke for undetermined reasons in October 2009 and was replaced with a 2.4 kW unit on February 5, 2010. The investment and operating expenses shown represent those associated with the 2.4 kW unit. The generation figures shown represent the combined total from both units. There was no generation from October 2009 through February 5, 2010.
2010 Footnotes:
May – August 2010: Wind turbine non-operational due to inverter failure. New turbine installed August 3, 2010.
June 2010: Facilities were struck by lightning early in the month and solar inverter was damaged. New inverter installed on July 14, 2010.
2011 Footnotes:
March – May 1011: Wind turbine failed on or about March 4 and was out of service through April. New turbine installed May 10, 2011.
