Midwest Propane
Times are tough. Week to week, it’s hard to know what’s next in terms of the economy and prices and jobs. In times like this, it’s good to find a partner that offers a sense of stability. Midwest Propane is proud to be that partner for more than 6000 happy customers across Michigan.

Competitors throw out low first-fill offers and other gimmicks to gain your business, only to adjust prices upward during the high-use heating season, leaving many unsuspecting propane users to watch in frustration as their propane price soared out of control this past winter. The graphic above, with data provided by the Michigan Public Service Commission, shows just what happened to many propane users over this last heating season.
Midwest Propane provides a different experience, working hard to earn and keep your business. We offer a capped rate, provided at no extra charge and guaranteed through the volatile heating season. It’s a simple approach that you can count on — week to week and tank to tank. Stability in unstable times.
What is the Midwest Propane difference? Simple.
- Capped rate, free and guaranteed through the heating season
We offer a little peace of mind in the volatile energy market. We are very strategic in our approach to purchasing gas on behalf of our family of customers. By monitoring the market, we can purchase gas when prices are at their lowest and pass those savings on to our loyal customers in the form of a capped rate, guaranteed from September 1 through May 31. With today’s volatile energy market, isn’t it comforting to know that your rate will not increase during the high-use heating season? - No hidden fees or pricing games
We don’t engage in pricing games, like offering a low first-fill deal as a way to attract new customers. We take care of our loyal customers and make sure we are providing them with high quality service at fair and competitive prices with no hidden fees. - Convenient program and payment options to meet your needs
Every customer is different, and we offer a variety of program and payment options to make your propane experience convenient for you.- With our metered service program, you pay for your gas monthly based on your actual usage. Metered service customers pay a monthly fee of $10.00 to cover the cost and ongoing maintenance of the meter.
- Pay-by-fill allows you to pay for each tank as it’s filled.
- Customers who want to spread their costs out evenly over the year choose our level pay budget plan.
Comparing offers from propane companies can be overwhelming. It’s important to ask the right questions in order to get a good comparison. For your convenience, we have developed a helpful tool: Finding Your New Propane Partner. This provides you with key questions to ask of any prospective propane partner, and a convenient worksheet on which you can track your information. With answers to these questions, you can better compare your options and consider which company you would like to select as your long-term propane provider. We also invite you to download a copy of our Midwest Propane Information Sheet. If you prefer to have any of this information mailed to you, please email us and provide your name and complete mailing address and we’ll send out a copy of our Customer Information Packet.
