Requirements for Service
- Customer must meet credit requirements
- One year contract or $125 fee
- Tank set fee of $1 plus applicable fees for labor of trenching line and securing permits
Programs and Payment Options
- Will Call Service
- Co-op requires notice of three business days for delivery to give us time to efficiently work the delivery into the schedule.
- Customers should contact Midwest Propane when tank reaches the 20 percent level.
- Fees will be assessed if customer is unable to provide the requested notice. See Other Charges and Fees above.
- Auto-Fill
- Customer agrees to notify Midwest Propane of any changes in number of types of propane appliances (i.e. addition of a woodburner)
- Metered Service
- Customer pays a $10 monthly meter fee.
- Customer is responsible for submitting monthly meter readings to assure correct usage is billed. If you neglect to turn in a meter reading, we will send a serviceman to your account to get the reading and assess a $25 trip charge.
- If meter readings are not submitted for two or more months, we will inactive the meter, put the account on autofill and bill customer for the balance of gas in the tank.
- Level Pay Budget Program
- Customers can start budget program at any time of the year. The budget year begins in June and ends in May.
- Budget accounts are reviewed periodically and may be recalculated based on actual usage.
- Missed payments may result in removal from the budget program.
