By popular demand, we're testing a whole new tournament this year! Sign up now to compete in our Rocket League tournament OR our first-ever Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament.

Both tournaments take place at the same time in Southwestern Michigan College's Barbara Wood Building. Both are limited to high schoolers only.

Fiber Cup Details

November 7, 2026
Doors Open: 10 a.m. 
Tournament Starts: 11 a.m.

RSVP By: October 16, 2026

Please note: You must choose to compete in EITHER the Rocket League tournament or the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament. Players cannot compete in both events.

 

Rocket League

Up to 16 teams of three high schoolers will compete in a double-elimination bracket at SMC’s Barbara Wood Building.

Teams can be school-affiliated, or you can sign up to compete with friends – you simply need to form a team prior to registering (we will not match you up).  

Grand Prize: Lenovo Legion Go S for each teammate (or similar console - subject to change based on product availability)
Second: $100 gift card for each teammate
Third: $50 gift card for each teammate

Any school teams that place in the top three will also win a donation to their school! Limit one team per school. Private schools are not eligible for a donation.

All players and spectators must RSVP by October 16. Maximum 16 teams. Must be a current high school student to compete. Admission will be on a first come, first served basis. Rocket League competitors are not eligible to compete in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

 

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Up to 16 individual high schoolers will compete in a single-elimination, best-of-three Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament.

Grand Prize: Nintendo Switch 2

Match Rules:

  • Stocks: 3
  • Time: 5 minutes
  • Maps: Battlefield, Small Battlefield, Final Destination, Pokémon Stadium 2, Smashville, Town and City, Hollow Bastion
  • Stage Hazards: OFF
  • Stage Morph: OFF

All players and spectators must RSVP by October 16. Maximum 16 players. Must be a current high school student to compete. Admission will be on a first come, first served basis. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate competitors are not eligible to compete in Rocket League.
