Apprentice Lineman Matt has completed the Central Ohio Lineworker Training (COLT) program to become a journeyman lineman for MEC. He completed thousands of hours of on-the-job training along with schooling at the program’s facility in Mount Gilead, Ohio.
MEC partners with COLT, the training division of Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives’ Safety & Loss Control Department, to train and educate our next generation of linemen. COLT is a Department of Labor-certified program.
