Ready for Your Rebate?
Follow these simple steps.
Confirm the details
- You are a Cooperative residential electric member.
- Items were installed or purchased between January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
- Review individual measures for eligibility requirements.
Gather copies of your receipts and invoices
- Scan or photograph all receipts and/or invoices from product purchases.
- Your paid receipt or invoice must clearly indicate the equipment type, make, model, price, and date of purchase or installation.
Submit Application
- Complete the online application and attach copies of all paid receipts and/or invoices that clearly indicate equipment qualifications and the installation.
- Rebate requests must be submitted within 60 days of purchase and installation.
- Incentive payment is limited to 75% of the project cost.

Appliance Rebates
Co-op members who purchase eligible home appliances can apply for helpful incentives through our Rebate program. Products must be new and in working condition. Used or refurbished products are not eligible for incentives. ENERGY STAR products can be verified at energystar.gov/productfinder.
Heating & Cooling Rebates
- A licensed Michigan mechanical contractor installation is required for all measures, except as noted.
- Members cannot perform the verification themselves, even if they perform the installation. Members are responsible for payment to the contractor if a service call is needed. An installation invoice must be provided with all rebate applications.
- Equipment must be new and in working condition. Used or refurbished equipment is not eligible for incentives.
- Heat pump efficiency can be verified at: AHRIdirectory.org and/or ashp.neep.org.
Payments
Co-op will review your submission and, if more information is needed, you will be contacted. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
