MEC Closing Lobbies

Amid growing concerns about the rapid spread of COVID-19, Midwest Energy & Communications (MEC) is closing the lobbies at all district service centers effective Noon on Wednesday, March 18. This is done to best protect customers and employees and to do our part to stop the spread of this virus. Each center is equipped with a drop box that will be checked regularly during business hours and payments posted the same day (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.). Our Cassopolis drive-through remains open for regular business hours. Customers with special needs, like a meter base, should call 800.492.5989 to make appropriate arrangements.

MEC employees continue to work to serve and support its energy and telecommunications customers.
