Issues with Mesh Unit

Backhaul Lights Not On

The mesh has not successfully synced.

  1. Ensure that the mesh is in the same room as your router.
  2. Press and hold the WPS button on the MEC-installed router for 7-10 seconds. When released, the WPS light will begin to blink amber.
  3. On the mesh unit, press the WPS button on the back of the device until the Wi-Fi Backhaul lights begin to blink green, then release the button.
  4. Allow 15 minutes for both devices to sync. This may power cycle the mesh a few times. Unplug and move the mesh to the desired location in your house ensuring that you have 3-4 green Wi-Fi green backhaul lights.

Mesh Power Light is Not Green; No Other Lights are on

The mesh may be applying firmware updates. Wait 15 minutes and perform a power cycle by unplugging the mesh for 60 seconds and then plugging it back in.
